Goals

I have started reading Dr. Phils 'Ultimate weight loss solution' I figured this was a good as place as any to work on the things he states in the book.

My long term goal, is to eventually get to 140-150lbs. That is 70-80lbs.

To get there I will need to exercise at least 5 times a week, eat more fruits and vegetables.

When I lose the weight, I want to feel good about myself. I want my son to be proud of his mommy. I want my hubby to have a hot wife.

I want to be able to run for 5 minutes straight.
I want to be able to fit into my PepeLondon jeans.

Short term goal is to lose 10% of my body weight. So that is 198lbs. 22lbs. That should be achievable, maybe I will shoot for 5% first. That will be 209lbs. 11 lbs, I can do that!!

I had a very good food day yesterday. Awesome water day, I drank my 4L. That is another goal. 4L of water every day.

I love my family-some of it anyway!

Had a good visit with unc and aunt. Went and found them good deal on strawberries, they bought 3 flats to take home and can. Can't wait till I get some of that jam. They brought hamburger down so had some AWESOME burgers on the bbq. After dinner we all went down to the river for a walk, let the dogs swim. Underdog had a blast with the buddydog. I think Underdog was a little sad to say goodbye. Got up at 5am and bullshitted with unc before I had to go to work. Spidey loved having them here. He thinks more of auntie then he does my mom. Auntie will actually spend time with him. He loves it. Won't leave her alone. Still feels weird for me that unc has a girlfriend, but it's good for him. Unc kind of told me he was proud of me and that means soooo much to me. He's impressed and happy that we have what we have, he thinks we have a very nice house. Just hearing him say that makes me emotional. I really care what he thinks, not anybody else. He's impressed with what we have around us and that we seem to be doing pretty well. (looks CAN be decieving) We seem to be doing ok. We are not living in poverty even though it feels like it. I wish my mother could be happy for me like that. Ironman thinks my mom is jealous of me and that's why she is the way she is. She's 58, lives in a mobile home, has no money, she divorced my dad years ago, he was an alcoholic, has a boyfriend now, but he was forced to retire, so that's why they have no money. Me, I'm 25, own a 6 year old house, my car 2 years old, bought brand new, hubby has a truck, we have an awesome marriage. Ironman thinks she is just jealous of the life I have and she would've wanted. I really don't even know if that made any sense at all. Everytime I talk about something we bought or we are thinking of doing, she gets mad at me for. I shouldn't spend money bla bla bla. What really bugs me though is when she tells me how to look after Spidey. HELLO!!!!! I AM HIS MOTHER. And I am damn well better mother then she ever was. I never leave my kid alone so I can go to the bar. If Ironman and I ever divorced, you would not see me bringing home men with my kid in the house. You would never find MAGGOTS in my kitchen!!!!!!!!!

Asthma=Fat

Was at the doctor the other day. Having sort of a physical, all my ailments and such. An inventory Dr. C said. He asked me what my top 3 concerns were. My #1 was my weight of course. That has always been an issue with me. And especially the last 7 years that I've been with Ironman. Well he starts going through my file and seeing my complaints and such for the last 7 years. He is starting to conclude that I may have asthma. He started asking my history from when I was a kid. SOOOO, I guess I have had asthma all my life from what he figures. I am now tracking my breathing for the next few weeks to see what is going on. And so from the asthma he figures that is where the weight problem is coming in. Why didn't I know this when I was a kid, then I would have had a valid reason to sit out on gym. I faked so many injuries when I was in school cause I hated gym. I wouldn't even run 50 feet. Then there was the time in grade 9 when i got suspended for smoking in the girls change room, another one of the times I was sitting out from class. Why was I stupid enough to have a smoke in there, I will never know. I was a pretty stupid kid at times. Yeah so this asthma thing. Weird. Just wish I'd known about it sooner. I knew about poor Spidey's since he was 18months. We get to both track our breathing together at night. We each have our own Peak flow meter, so he thinks that is pretty cool.

alcohol and weight gain

Everytime I drink alcohol, the next morning I have gained 5lbs. Holy shit. I didn't seem to drink that much. Must have been all the pepsi. I have to quit drinking, even though it's not that often. But on the good side, all that alcohol last night and we had really good sex. Ironman should be happy, he got it 3 times yesterday. Should last him about a week. Ha ha

what should i write?????

I read these damn blogs all the time so I thought I would start my own. But guess what???? I don't have a clue what to write. Spidey just went to bed. YIPPEEEE!!!!!! Now I get to drink in peace. Dr. McGillicudys, FRENCH KISS. Yummmy I am gettin a little tipsy!! Ironman just tore apart the bedroom so it would look all nice when my uncle came to visit. He says it wasn't for uncle, but I don't believe him. But now it's done and I didn't have to do it. I had to supervise at the end though cause he brought in the garbage pail, even though there WAS NOT that much garbage in there. I had to make sure nothing was getting thrown out that was important. Which he almost did. The score card from our very first mini golf game together. How could he throw that out? Now he's bugging me about throwing out the ticket stub from the No Doubt concert we went to when we got engaged. How could he? I admit that they are useless pieces of paper, but they have sentimental value. I don't keep everything like that. Just stuff like that, and cards. What's the big deal? You should see his hockey card collection. Takes up half my basement.
We get the mustang on the road soon. Iron man and Spidey are really happy about it. I don't really care, cause I'm not allowed to drive it any way. Per in laws. So it will be fun though. Spidey loves that car soooooo much. Ironman does too, it used to be his dad's. It's pretty, and red. we got to use it at our wedding. But it has been in my(our) garage for a year now and I 'm not allowed to drive it. I guess one day when it is actually Ironman's.
Uncle is coming to visit tomorow. Yeah!!!!!! I love my uncle. And he seems about the only one of my family members to come visit me. Even my own parents have never been to my new house. We've been here over a year. Dad only lives and hour and half away. Mom 4 hours. Nope not once. Oh well, I got good old uncle. He's been a better parent to me then my own. I spent alot of time growing up with him. And it was always just him, divorced before i was born, and none of his own kids. But now I also got an aunt. It took me a little while to get used to that, but she is good for him, and us too. Gives us canning and good jam all the time. Good that uncle is finally getting some, I think it had been a few years for him. They say they are getting married so that's cool. They also have Buddy who is Underdogs best friend. Underdog is our golden lab/chow, hairy hairy hairy hairy hairy hairy hairy beast. He is so hairy our furniture constantly has a fur coat, and I think his hair broke our vacuum. A $1800 friggen vacume only 5 years old and it doesn't work. What's with that? So as I write that hubby is off to prove me wrong and try and fix it. Well why didnt he do that a long time ago????? I should write more stuff in this damn blog about him!!!! he'll do it!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

Love Shack, Oh LOVE shack baby.................
